Why the page ended up graphical rather than number-heavy — several containers, each answering a different question about the season ahead.
There are several ways I could've made it easy for the user to see what they want to see. Do they want to see deep dives into specific matchups? Do they want to see what teams have strong or weak fixtures coming up? Does the user want to go through each gameweek and see what each matchup looks like? Do they want to see the key information worth holding onto for each gameweek, to see overall high and low potential weekends?
Well… why not all of it?
In concept
There are a lot of ways a user might want to see this information, so instead of having the page be number-heavy, I instead went in the direction of something that is more graphical, interactive, and comprehensive to use and understand. I'd do this with different containers of information, some providing more of a deep dive than others, providing the user different perspectives on how to view the season. I was thinking about having the deep dive into specific matchups in the middle as this will provide the most important general info on matchups, views for future gameweeks and a team's upcoming fixtures, and a way to see the highlighted info for all upcoming gameweeks which would improve the user's foresight for the season ahead.
