Why include it
The league table is probably the page on the site that holds the least functionality, but I still felt it was important to include. If the user wanted to look at this to understand further the real-life performance in the league, or get a better understanding of team form, they would want this but would need to look elsewhere. Including it only required a simple pull from understat.com of all the relevant statistics users expect from looking at a league table, and a sort with identical logic to how real-life table positions are determined.
Where it leads
Clicking on a team allows the user to visit a deeper look into how that team has been doing over its matches earlier in the season, by directing them to the By team area of this page.
